Project Manager

Civil / Coastal Engineering (PE Preferred)

Edgewater Resources is seeking a Project Manager-level Civil or Coastal Engineer to lead the planning, design, and implementation of waterfront and shoreline infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage meaningful, built work across marinas, harbors, and coastal environments throughout the United States and abroad.

Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects, including client management, technical oversight, team coordination, and financial performance. This role requires strong engineering capabilities and the ability to lead projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects including scope, schedule, budget, and client communication
  • Lead design efforts for waterfront, coastal, and site/civil infrastructure
  • Coordinate internal staff and external subconsultants
  • Prepare and review technical deliverables and construction documents
  • Support business development, proposals, and client relationship management
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Coastal Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including client interaction
  • Technical experience in coastal, marine, structural, or site/civil design
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and standard engineering tools

Work Environment

  • Position based in Madison, WI or St. Joseph, MI
  • Hybrid work flexibility with expectation of regular in-office collaboration
  • Occasional travel for site visits and client coordination
